Bonnie Chambers

Mrs. Bonnie Chambers of Colquitt, GA, died on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Donalsonville Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Duren Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Colquitt City Cemetery with Kent Richardson, Raymond Holt jr, Bruce Henry, Joel Josey, Russ Tabb, and Bobby Richardson jr serving as active pallbearers.

Mrs. Bonnie served as the Lunchroom Manager at the Miller County School System for 37 years. She was a member of Colquitt First Baptist Church, where she was a member of their TEL Sunday school class. She was also a member of the American Food Services Association.

She is survived by one son, Chris Chambers of Colquitt, GA; one grandson, Ben (Cary Anne) Chambers of St. Simons Island, GA; one granddaughter, Dara (Todd) Creech of Thomasville. GA; five great-grandchildren, Max Chambers, Francy Chambers, Carson Creech, Cooper Creech, and Cannon Creech; special cousin, Kathy Walker of Wauchula, FL; sister-in-law, Edith Campbell of Monroe, GA; two nephews, Mike Campbell and Terry Campbell; and one niece, Vicky Welty. Mrs. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Louie Chambers; two sons, Hal Chambers and Mitch Chambers; and parents, Lee and Carrie Norman.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to James W Merritt Memorial Library.
