Kaye Musgrove

Mrs. Debra Kay Musgrove of Colquitt died Thursday, January 1, 2026 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 3:00 PM, at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Hoyt Donley officiating. Interment will follow at Mothers Home Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Jason Cox, Jeff Cox, Antonio Walters, Derek Watson, Brooks Watson, and Michael Middleton serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Clenney, Jerry Nalls, Fred Byrd, and Jean White. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Colquitt Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kay worked as a school bus driver for the Miller County School System for many years.

She is survived by one daughter, Lynn (Matt) Holley of Baconton, GA; two sons, David Musgrove of Rome, GA, and Michael (Angel) Musgrove of Colquitt, GA; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn (Pat) King of Donalsonville, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Musgrove; one granddaughter, Courtney Musgrove; her parents, Lynwood and Elsie Whitaker; her grandmother, Minnie Cross; and two brothers, Irvin Whitaker and W.L. Whitaker.
