Dottie Louise Chandler

Mrs. Dottie Louise Chandler of Donalsonville, GA, died on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Great Grans in Donalsonville. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Donalsonville with Rev. Mike Herrin and Jarrod Harrison officiating. Miller County School teachers will be serving as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. The family will be at her residence, 2803 Burl Lane Road, Donalsonville, GA.

Mrs. Dottie retired from the Miller County School System after 31 years of teaching and was a member of the Miller County Retired Educators Association. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Donalsonville.

She is survived by two daughters, Marci (Jarrod) Harrison of Ashford, AL, and Tina (Will) Fain of Donalsonville, GA; five grandchildren, Chandler Harrison, Madalynn Harrison, Maeson Harrison, Emilee Fain, and William Fain; and one sister, Dianne Grow of Jakin, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lavon Chandler; brother, Tubby Dancer; one grandchild, Hannah Grace Harrison; and parents, Eleanor and Walter C Dancer.
