Mrs. Duane B. Harden of Tallahassee, formerly of Colquitt, died Friday, April 10, 2026, at her residence. Funeral services will be Monday, April 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Donalsonville Church of God with Rev. Larry Daughtry officiating. Interment to follow at South Mt. Zion Cemetery with Rodney Hill, Montana Lawson, Frankie Lawson, Chase Durham, Gary Wetherington and Tyler Harden serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church.
Mrs. Harden was a retired school bus driver for the Miller County School System and a member of Donalsonville Church of God.
She is survived by two daughters, Christy (Ronald) Dixon of Tallahassee, FL and Veronica (Danny) Durham of Colquitt, GA; four grandchildren, Madison (Frankie) Lawson, Cassidi (Montana) Lawson, Danielle (Rodney) Hill, Chase (Macee) Durham; nine great grandchildren; four brothers, Rondall (Tina) Broxton of Donalsonville, GA, Dolphus (Peggy) Broxton of Mobile, Al, Greg Broxton of Donalsonville, GA, and Michael Broxton of Albany, GA; three sisters, Loraine (Matthew) Wetherington of Jakin, GA, Barbara Arthur of Faceville, GA, and Sue Palmer of Blakely, GA. Mrs. Harden was preceded in death by her husband, James Harden, Sr., and her parents, Lonnie and Delores Broxton.
