Elise Gordon

Mrs. Elise Gordon of Donalsonville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Donalsonville Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Prickett officiating. Interment will follow in Colquitt City Cemetery with Rex Cook, Chris Hayes, Tristan Spence, and Brady Toliver serving as active pallbearers. A visitation will be held one hour before the service, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, at Colquitt Funeral Home. 

Mrs Gordon was a homemaker. She attended Mt. Olive Holiness Church. 

She is survived by two grandchildren, Teresa Wells and Thomas (Becky) Gordon; three great-grandchildren, Kelli (Tristan) Spence, Abigale Haywood, and Jaxon Gordon; three great-great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Toliver, Brady Toliver, and Charleigh Spence; two brothers, Lyne (Gail) Widner of Colquitt, GA, and Kenneth (Mottie) Widner of Climax, GA; and two sisters, Jewann Johnson and Clara Hart, both of Colquitt, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Gordon; one son, Harold Thomas Gordon; one great-grandson, Tristan Haywood; four brothers, Harry Widner, Joe Widner, Jimmy Widner, and LaDon Widner; and two sisters, Mary Alice Gruber and Debra Gail Widner.
