Erin Alexis Smith

Ms. Erin Smith of Albany died Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Wellstar Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. She will be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Sheffield Funeral Chapel, with Sam Dunn officiating.

Ms. Smith was the Apartment Manager at Princeton Place Apartments in Albany.

She is survived by two daughters, Laney Smith and Sophie Smith of Albany; her father, Douglas Delaney of Colquitt; two sisters, Shannon Delaney of Atlanta and Melissa Delaney of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Price Delaney, one son, Michael Tyler Smith, and her grandmother, Sally Delaney.
