Ethel Mae Schwartz

Mrs. Ethel Mae Schwartz of Damascus, formerly of Hummelstown, PA, died Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Wilson Hospice House in Albany, GA. A memorial service will be planned for a later date in Hummelstown, PA. at Trefz and Bowser Funeral Home.

Mrs. Schwartz was an archivist with the Hershey Historical Society and was a member of Fishburn United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Doreen (Robert) Worsley of Damascus, GA; one granddaughter, Erica (Eric) Nelson of Harrisburg, PA; and one great-grandson, Tyler Weary. Mrs. Schwartz was preceded in death by one son, Edward Schwartz; her parents, Cecil Vernon and Mary Elizabeth Heisey Via; and one sister, Verna Schwartz.
