     Mr. George Floyd McNease of Colquitt, GA died on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Miller Nursing Home. A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bobby Smith officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Colquitt Funeral Home.

     Mr. McNease was a heavy equipment operator and the owner of Floyd's Place in Colquitt, GA.

     He is survived by one son, James McNease of Blakely, GA; one daughter, Patsy McNease, of Colquitt, GA; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Jim McNease of Iron City, GA, Mike McNease of Columbus, AL, Earl McNease of Huntsville, AL, and Al McNease of California; and two sisters, Alma Pirnie of Florida, and Elsie Thompson of Hephzibah, GA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Odom McNease; one son, Kenneth Wayne McNease; one grandson, Troy Tomms, Jr.; two brothers, Henry Rufus McNease and Felix McNease; one sister, Liz McNease; and his parents, George and Beatrice Roberts McNease.
