Colquitt
Ms. Joy "Susie" Harrell Fones of Colquitt died Sunday, March 5, 2023, at her residence. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Cooks Union United Methodist Church with Rev. Jean Watson and Rev. Cory Thomas officiating.
Ms. Joy retired from Miller County Headstart and was a member of Colquitt United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Vicki (Trent) Clenney of Colquitt; three grandchildren, Garison (Jana) Clenney of Colquitt, Preston (Tayler) Clenney of Colquitt, and Evan Clenney of Colquitt; one expected great-grandchild in June; and three sisters, Jerri Ross of Ocilla, Jane (Billy) Roland of Colquitt, and Jean Reynolds of Camilla.
