Linda Sue Cowart

Linda Sue Burke Cowart age 73 of Moreland, GA passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Colquitt City Cemetery, Colquitt, GA with Jack Cowart officiating. 

Linda was born January 14, 1951 in East Point, GA. She was a stay at home mom and a seamstress by trade. Her heart was her family and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Linda loved the Lord and was a faithful member of her church. 

Linda is survived by her three daughters: Shannon Pasley (Ron), Tanya Hannah (Mike) and Jamie Smith. Her 9 grandchildren Kevin Abercrombie (Sarah) Brittany Brandon (Ros), Justin Pasley (Jamie), Spencer Hannah (Katy) Brooklyn Ray (Josh) Chanceller Hannah, Kaitlyn Smith, and Carley Smith. Her great grandchildren Pasley and Josie Brandon; Major, Dawson, Louella and Clayton Ray; Waylon and Brody Pasley; Alice and Wilson Abercrombie; LT Hannah. Sisters Inez Pitts and Joyce Martin. Linda was preceded in death by her husband James “JC” Cowart, her parents Frank and Hassie Burke, brothers Billy and David Burke and her grandson Avery Pasley whom she all loved dearly.
