Margaret Christine Craft

Ms. Margaret Christine Craft, of Baker County, GA, died on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Effingham Care and Rehabilitation Center located in Springfield, GA. A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Bethany Cemetery, with Rev. Preston Wilson officiating.

Christene was born in Greenville, South Carolina, on May 9, 1935. Proceeding her in death were her husband, Reuben Craft, and her son, Steve Craft (Nancy). Surviving family includes Frank (Cheryl) Craft, Beth (Cary) Williams, Benson (Dale) Craft, and Bubba (Jessica) Craft; grandchildren include Eric (Brooke) Craft, Derick Whitaker, Colby Whitaker, Kristin (Blake) Foster, and Isaac Craft.; great-grandchildren include Summer and Stormie Whitaker, Lyndsey Foster, and Emerson Craft; and numerous step-grandchildren. Reuben and Christine were married for 57 long and wonderful years. Christine was a member of Bethany Baptist Church until its closure, and then she and Reuben were members at Milford Baptist Church. Christine’s love of family was unmatched. Each and every member of the family meant everything to her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bethany Cemetery and can be mailed to Bubba Craft at 100 Bogartus Rd. Arlington, GA 39813.
