Mrs. Mary Lee Polk of Jakin, died Monday, March 2nd, 2026, at her residence. Funeral services will be Monday, March 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Barwick officiating. Interment will follow at Bellview Cemetery with Jeffrey Clenney, Rick McCall, Jimmy Clenney, Jr., Jonathan McCall, Anthony Toliver, Mac McCall, Charlie West, and Jacob Williams serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday, March 9th, 2026, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church.
Mrs. Polk retired from Miller Nursing Home and was a member of First Colquitt Emanuel Holiness Church.
She is survived by four sons, Jimmy (Sue) Clenney of Plattsburgh, NY, Wayne (Brenda) Clenney of Colquitt, GA, Glenn (Jackie) Clenney of Jakin, GA and Lynn (Roger) Clenney of Cairo, GA; two daughters, Rosie Lee (Ricky) McCall and Darline (Ted) Ingram both of Phoenix City, AL; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Polk was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Clenney; one son, Michael Clenney; one daughter, Doris Watson; her parents, Clayton and Mattie King Givens; and many brothers and sisters.
