     Mr. Max Bryan Wells of Donalsonville, GA died Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at his residence. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 31, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jack Cowart officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Colquitt Funeral Home.
     Mr. Wells was a retired farmer, and member of Colquitt First Baptist Church. He served as the Southern District Chairman for the Republican Party of Seminole County, and was a member of the Sons of the Confederacy.
      He is survived by his wife, Teresa Wells of Donalsonville, GA; one son, Griffin (Tatianna) Wells of Inman, SC; one daughter, Erika Wells Kennedy of Crestview, FL; two stepdaughters, Kelli (Tristan) Spence of Colquitt, GA and Abigale Haywood of Thomasville, GA; two stepsons, Dustin (Marissa) Mathis of Lee Co. GA and Brandon Mathis; one brother, Timothy (Elizabeth) Wells of Marietta, GA; one sister, Dawn(Tony) Kelley of Colquitt, GA; four grandchildren, Grady Kennedy, Ashlyn Toliver, Brady Toliver, and Charleigh Spence; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Wells was preceded in death by his father, Max Eugene Wells; stepfather and mother, Roger and Nell Griffin Lane; and one stepson, Tristan Haywood.
