Mildred Dixie Bowen

Mildred Dixie Bowen of Colquitt, GA died on Sunday, July 19, at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 22, at 11:30 AM at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Josh Rathel officiating. Austin Henley, Jaden Bowen, Tyler Sellers, Joseph Adams, Justin Thomas, Richard Davenport, Michael Loveday II, and Michael Loveday III will be serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour before the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, at Colquitt Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Mildred was a retired Nurse from Miller County Nursing Home and a member of Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Kim) Henley of Colquitt; one son, Michael Bowen of Colquitt; seven grandchildren, Jaden (Rylee) Bowen, Kimber (Tyler) Sellers, Austin (Presley) Henley, Joseph (Carmen) Adams, Cayman (Thomas) Hatton, Whitley Loveday, and Michael Loveday II; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn Forsyth of Hanes City, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Wade and Maggie Mae Johnson Wade; her husband, Hays Votimon Bowen; two daughters, Vickie Adams and Patricia Loveday; five brothers; and six sisters.
