Patricia Anne Heard

Mrs. Patricia Anne Heard of Colquitt died Friday, March 13th, 2026, at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, GA. Funeral services will be Monday, March 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Barwick officiating. Interment to follow at Primitive Union Cemetery with Clay Poague, Lance Tabb, Gary Heard Jr., Jeff Heard, Jerry Heard Jr., and Ronnie Newberry serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday, March 16, 2026, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church.

Mrs. Heard was a retired nurse at Miller Nursing Home in Colquitt and was a member of Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Lance (Lisa) Heard of Adel, and Dane (Laural) Heard of Adel, GA; one Daughter, Marcia (Alan) Lee of Leary, GA; Son-In-Law, Tommy Smith of Colquitt, GA; nine Grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Ansley (Clay) Poague, Whitney (Lance) Tabb, Miles (Courtney) Lee, Tyler Heard, Garrett (Jaclyn) Heard, Reece Heard, Morgan Heard, and Caroline Heard; and eight great-grandchildren, Lexie Delbrey, Bowen Smith, Greyson Smith, Townsend Tabb, Berklee Tabb, Baker Lee, Lawson Lee, and Frank Heard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Heard Jr.; one daughter, Melanie Smith; and her parents, Henry and Marguerite Daniels Newberry. 

The family is meeting at Mrs. Patricia's house at 328 Newberry Chambers Road, Colquitt, GA 39837.
