Peggy Batchelor Williams

Peggy Batchelor Williams, 95, of Morrow, Georgia, passed away on June 7, 2026.

Born on March 4, 1931, in Colquitt, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Nanny Batchelor. She spent her entire life as a loving sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping, watching Atlanta Braves baseball, and a good mountain vacation. Above all else, she cherished spending time with her beloved family, which brought her the greatest joy.

Survivors include her grandson, Bo Edwards, nephews, Bill Batchelor, Charles Corbin Jr, and Joe Floyd, and niece, Leigh Anne McCormick, as well as their families.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Williams, daughter, Gail W. Edwards, sister Calista Cofty, brothers, Colley, Dorsey, and Elmo Batchelor and nieces, Nan Corbin and Jimmie Lou Floyd.
