Regina Heard

Gina passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by everyone she loved, on December 21, 2025.

Gina was born on January 23, 1970, to Gordon and the late Patsy Richardson of Colquitt. She graduated high school from Southwest Georgia Academy where she met the love of her life, Gary. If there was one thing she was most proud of in her life, it was her marriage. For over 35 years, her and Gary were inseparable. Gina and Gary have three children. Hillary (Chase) Henley of Colquitt, Elizabeth (Caleb) Smith of Baker County, and Andrew (Lakin) Heard of Baker County. She was lovingly known as “G” or “Gigi” to her grandchildren, Hallie, Hayden, Hardin, Barrett, Banks and Collier.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Richardson.

She is survived by her father, Gordon Richardson; sister, Monica (Ronnie) Posey; brothers, Thad (Kim) Richardson and Steven Richardson; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her best friend, Lisa Hayes, who was by her side until the very end.

A celebration of life will be held on Gina’s birthday, January 23, 2026 for close friends and family.
