Russell Lavon Phillips of Colquitt, GA, died Monday, January 12, 2026. A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, with Marty Henley officiating.
Mr. Phillips worked in farming.
He is survived by one son, Michael (Nancy) Phillips of Colquitt, GA; one brother, Riley (Shirley) Phillips of Colquitt, GA; two sisters, Elaine Amerson of Jakin, GA, and Trish Ann Phillips of Colquitt, GA; and four grandchildren, Sutton Phillips, Elizabeth Karter, Halle Mathis, and Jack Mathis. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lorie Phillips; and his parents, Buddy and Myrtice Phillips.
