Sarah Vandela Rhodes

Mrs. Sarah Vandela Rhodes of Monticello, FL died on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Elder Mark Miller and Rev. Billy Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Bellview Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Colquitt Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Rhodes was formerly a Caregiver. She was a member of the Madison Seventh-day Adventist Church. 

She is survived by her husband, Levon Rhodes of Monticello, FL- formerly of Colquitt, GA; one son, Doug (Alice) Johnson of Crawfordville, FL; one step-son, Jason Rhodes of Hortense, GA; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Bessie Owens McHaley; one daughter; three sons; and the father of her children, Earl Johnson.
