Shay Chapman

     Mrs. Sedra Shay Chapman of Colquitt, GA died Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Barwick officiating. A private family only graveside will follow at Colquitt City Cemetery.  No visitation will be held.

     Mrs. Chapman was a member of Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church, and worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Amelia Medical Plaza in Bainbridge. 

     She is survived by husband, Lee Chapman, of Colquitt, GA; three daughters, Hannah Beth Chapman, Brooke Chapman, and Emilee Chapman of Colquitt, GA; one sister, Sarah Benefield of Colquitt, GA; father, Richard Skipper of Bunnell, FL; and paternal grandmother, Faye Skipper of Donalsonville, GA. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Taliaferro; mother, Peggy Skipper; paternal grandfather, Carlton Skipper, maternal grandparents, Lavene and Braxton Hudson; and paternal grandparents, George and Winnie Ruth Taliaferro.
